Who We Are

BSP Education Society is a not for profit school run by service oriented staff and community volunteers striving to promote literacy levels and employment of girl children in rural india.

Location
Situated in Jattari town,an agriculture driven rural town along the Delhi-Aligarh national highway (N.H.) via Palwal,Tappal. This institute is approximately 100 kms. from New Delhi the capital of India.
Literacy Ratio
Prior to the functioning of this school the literacy ratio of boys and girls was nearly 95:5. Since then there is been continous improvement to about 80:20. We believe every year this number is improving significantly.
Gender bias
In this region, guardian’s attitude towards girl’s education is biased.They prefer to educate the sons instead of daughters.If girls were given the opportunity, they will be as sucessful as the sons.
Economy
Due to lack of infrastructure developments in the region, agriculture is the primary source of income for most residents.They prefer to send the girls to work in the fields rather than go to school.
